How to Ferry-Glide Sideways in a Motorboat
Okay, it’s skills check time. For those that don’t know ferry gliding is a handy technique for motorboat handling that allows precise sideways movement across water currents or wind. This can be useful when approaching berths or navigating in tight spaces.

After raising a small sum of money from friends and family for medical and school supplies sailor Andrew Brown set sail to deliver some much-needed supplies to Haïti. Along the way, he learnt a thing or two about cruising in this area and shared his advice from taking the route less traveled.
